Repayment roadmap
A structured roadmap for aligning debt payoff with emergency-fund milestones—Lumen Financial Planning, Bangkok.
Your repayment roadmap (custom service guide)
This page describes how we build a repayment roadmap during a tailored engagement. It is not a generic calculator output; each roadmap is drafted from your statements, pay cycles, and household obligations.
Phase A — Exposure map
We document every liability: credit cards, personal loans, informal family advances, and hire-purchase contracts. For each line we capture APR, billing date, minimum, and prepayment penalties. The exposure map becomes the single source of truth—no duplicate “shadow” balances on spreadsheets.
Phase B — Liquidity floor
Before accelerating principal, we decide the liquidity floor: the smallest cash reserve you keep while costly revolving balances remain open. For some Bangkok renters this is one month of rent plus utilities; for dual-income households it may be a fixed THB starter amount. The floor prevents a medical bill from becoming a new card balance.
Phase C — Allocation windows
Your take-home pay is split into windows: non-negotiables (minimums, rent), acceleration (extra principal on the priority debt), and fund feed (automatic transfer to a segregated savings account). Windows shift when bonuses arrive or school fees spike—we document triggers in writing.
Phase D — Review triggers
The roadmap includes calendar checkpoints: after 90 days, after any job change, and after closing a revolving line. Each trigger lists which numbers to refresh (balances, fund level, interest rates).

Working sessions may be held at our Charoen Krung office or by video.
